The year 2020 was noted as the year of pandemic worldwide. It also marked the 80th anniversary of H.R. GIGER's birth, and GIGER×SORAYAMA, a two-artist exhibit was held to celebrate his birth in Japan by some miracles during a pandemic.
This official catalog was sold at GIGER×SORAYAMA exhibit at PARCO Museum in Tokyo and PARCO Event Hall in Osaka between December 2020 and February 2021. It is the very first time that the work of Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama who pursuits the beauty in the human body and the machine, and Swiss artist HR Giger were brought together.
The catalog includes many illustrations and commentary on the works of the two major artists, as well as an interview with H.R.G at the end of his life and an interview with Hajime Sorayama. It comes with a two-sided poster (about 20 x 27.5 inches) and die-cut stickers as well.
