Kazuki Takamatsu “For Us to Live Freely” Art Collection Book SIGNED

Kazuki Takamatsu creates an ethereal world of delicate nightmares. His art depicts girls delicate as porcelain, enveloped in the specter of death, gaining him followers around the world. This book features art and sketches. 

A graduate of the Department of Oil Painting at Tohoku University of Art and Design in 2011, Takamatsu closely follows Japanese subcultures, drawing inspiration from the aesthetics ofmangacartoons. He uses a unique depth-mapping technique that he developed, in which classic mediums such as drawing, airbrush and gouache painting are combined with computer graphics to create compositions that show young women in intimate poses. His figures probe human emotion while reflecting on modern societal conditions in Japan.
