Eisaku Kito

JAPANESE FIGURE SCULPTOR BORN IN 1969

He graduated from Asagaya Art College in 1990 and started working as a freelance sculptor. He worked on Keita Amemiya's movie, Zeiram as an artistic designer in 1991. In 2004, he worked on the robot prototype of Mamoru Oishi's movie, Innocence and collaborated with Takashi Murakami on his sculpture, Inochi. He also created a figure called DIVA for the Nike Be True campaign which celebrated one the most beloved sneakers of all time, the Dunk in 2008. He is known as one of the prototype makers and designers of S.I.C. Takumi Soul series from Bandai, along with Takayuki Takeya.
