NekoshowguN (born. October 3, 1982-, in Wakayama, Japan) is a Japanese illustrator and character designer. He mainly draws insects, animals, women, jewelry, meat, and sweets. He also does character design and live-build drawings. His representative works include the jacket of Kyosuke Himuro's album CD "WARRIORS", the main character of Lollipop Chainsaw, and weapon designs.

From his childhood, he was influenced by Dali and Escher. When he graduated from high school, he started posting his drawings on his website. 2004, a friend encouraged him to apply for the young artist discovery project of FM802, an FM station in Osaka, and he passed the audition. 2006, he held a solo exhibition in Osaka and has since been active overseas, including in San Francisco. He has also been active in Japan and abroad. In addition, he has been posting videos of his derivative works and their processes on Nico Nico Douga under the user name laich777 since 2007. The drawing materials he uses range from digital software such as Painter and Photoshop to pencils, pens, and markers.
