Tetsuya Noguchi (Tetsuya Noguchi, 1980 - ) is a contemporary artist from Kagawa, Japan, who graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Hiroshima City University Faculty of Art in 2003 and completed the graduate course in 2005.
He creates sculptures and paintings with the motif of figures in armor. Although his works look old-fashioned at first glance, they are made of modern materials such as resin and acrylic. His works are characterized by their realistic appearance mixed with pathos and humor. His works frequently include quotations from the classics and readings of history, and there is also an academic aspect to his creative activities.
