Dango Takeda "Master of The Fantastic Costume"

Enchanting and refined, the dark universe of Dango Takeda will tug fashion and fantasy art lovers’ heartstrings. Photographer Hiroshi Nonami shot the fantastic costumes designed by him who is one of the top costume designers in Japan. Costumes are for the following films GANTZ, Assault Girls, Kamen Rider and for Gekidan Shinkansen (Japanese theater company). It is unusual for costume collections to be published. It was because Dango Takeda who made its publication possible since his great work has made him prominent in theater and movies.

A JAPANESE COSTUME DESIGNER

After graduating Osaka University of the Arts (Department of Visual Science), he joined the theater company ☆ shinkansen. After experiencing video production, props making and acting, he started costume design in 1990. He has designed costumes for many theaters, TV shows and movies.

Hiroshi Nonami (Born in 1954)

A JAPANESE PHOTOGRAPHER BORN IN MATSUE, SHIMANE PREFECTURE

He started up his own studio called No-Ah in 1979. All of his images are made by hand. His

work has been exhibited in numerous cities in Japan, the United States, and Europe. His current work includes the publicity photos for artists, musicians and theaters.
